Didn’t bring your surfing equipment? If you are an experienced surfer visiting Curio Bay, you don’t want to miss the opportunity to surf the waves here.
At Catlins Surf you can hire all the surfing equipment you will need. We are located right on the beachfront in the Curio Bay campground. Easy to find, look for the signs.

- We do not hire surfboards over low tides, higher tides only for safety reasons and wave quality. Please contact us for daily tide times or more info.
- Wetsuits, SUP’s and bodyboards are available to hire at any tide.
- We have over 40 surfboards available to hire. Shortboards, funboards and longboards.
- Star ratings on surf forecast pages: In my experience the best for learners surfing in this bay is 1-3 stars, if it's 4-5 stars it's very big surf so I'm usually closed.

3.5 hours surf equipment hire (minimum): $60 per person, includes board, wetsuit, and accessories

Whole day hire for 12 hours, includes board, wetsuit, and accessories
